It’s the classic story of “boy meets girl...”

 

Except the “boy” is actually a couple who built a successful candy company out of their home, and the “girl” is a retail shop owner with a dream to start a coffee café. In early 2017, they met and fell madly in business together.

Over the next three years, the three of us worked hard at crafting a top-notch business plan, raising capital through an investment crowdfunding campaign, then putting a whole lot of elbow grease into renovating the over-160-year-old building that The Buzz calls home.

 

There were many proverbial doors closed and windows opened along the way, all of which pushed our collaborative dream into reality.
